The Tech FabLab initiative, part of the RETECH project, has been key in bringing advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence, big data, and blockchain closer to the real needs of Alicante companies. The Director General of Innovation, Juan José Cortés, reviewed these actions during the Horizonte Tech event, held in Alicante.
The project has collaborated with the European Business and Innovation Centre (CEEI) of Elche, offering specialized training, mentoring, strategic support, and business networking opportunities. Cortés highlighted that the Generalitat Valenciana maintains a comprehensive support strategy for the entire business ecosystem, from startups to established companies.
Tech FabLab has been structured around five lines of action: TechLeader for executives (21 companies, 52 people), StartTech Innovation for startups (7 companies), ScaleUP Growth for growing companies (3 companies), Future Labs for corporate intrapreneurship (49 companies, with personalized mentoring for spin-offs), and a technological training line in Vocational Training (211 students, 11 teachers).
The president of CEEI Elche, José Javier García, thanked the regional administration for its support in enhancing business competitiveness through innovation and technology.
