According to the Valencian High Court of Justice (TSJCV), the assault occurred at the Alicante-Orán ferry terminal during Operation Crossing the Strait. In addition to the ear bite, the accused also allegedly struck two police officers during his arrest.
The victim had arrived at the Muelle de Poniente intending to access a parking spot with his vehicle, but the accused told him the space was reserved for port personnel. A dispute ensued, resulting in the accused biting the victim's right ear and tearing off a part of it.
He was subsequently arrested and taken to the provincial headquarters of the National Police. There, according to the prosecution, the detainee punched one officer and kicked another, both sustaining minor injuries. He is charged with alleged assault, resisting authority, and two counts of minor injury, leading to the five-year prison request.
The trial for these events is scheduled for next Wednesday at 10 AM in the Tenth Section of the Provincial Court of Alicante.
