The indefinite strike of non-university public education teachers saw another day of mobilizations this Wednesday across the three provinces of the Valencian Community, with concentrations and protests demanding salary and labor improvements.

The main concentration took place in front of the Palau de la Generalitat, where hundreds of teachers protested. Demonstrators displayed a coffin with the phrase 'RIP Public School' and threw fake 75 euro bills with the image of the president to criticize the salary offer proposed by the Consell.
Additionally, a banner demanding the resignation of the Minister of Education was unfurled from a building on Caballeros Street.
The Ministry of Education estimated the strike's participation this Wednesday at 24.55% of non-university public education teachers. According to official data, participation reached 25.62% in Valencia, 24.02% in Alicante, and 22.64% in Castellón.
These figures contrast with those of Tuesday, when Education reported participation at 35.55% and the convening unions —STEPV, UGT, CCOO, and CSIF— raised support to 75%.
In Alicante, several columns of teachers marched through the city to converge in front of the Casa de las Brujas, where they demanded more investment, reduced ratios, and less bureaucracy in educational centers. Meanwhile, in Castelló de la Plana, protests concentrated in front of the Casa dels Caragols, as part of the mobilization calendar called by the unions throughout the week.
The Ministry of Education has called a meeting with teacher unions this Thursday to try to unblock the conflict and present a comprehensive proposal with support measures for teachers. The union organizations have confirmed their attendance, although they maintain pressure tactics and warn that only an offer addressing their demands could open the door to calling off the strike.
