Hércules CF midfielder, Josep Calavera, will be unable to play in the final two league matches due to a fibrillar tear, adding to the Alicante club's injury list.

Diagnostic tests have confirmed that Calavera has suffered a fibrillar tear in his quadriceps, which will require three to four weeks for recovery. This injury prevents him from returning to play before the championship concludes, scheduled for May 23.
The player, on loan from Tenerife, has been a key figure for coach Beto Company since his arrival in the January transfer window. He has participated in 14 matches, twelve of them as a starter, and has convinced the coach, who wishes to continue counting on him next season.
Although his loan contract ends and he should return to the island, Tenerife's promotion to Primera Federación could facilitate his continued stay at the Alicante club. The sports management of Hércules, which includes the Valencian coach, values his profile as a positional midfielder.
The club hopes that Calavera can extend his link with Alicante and start pre-season as a 'blanquiazul', as he is considered a fundamental specialist for Beto Company's football model. The intention is for his continuity to be finalized soon, without the lengthy negotiations that occurred in the past.
In addition to Calavera, Hércules will face the upcoming trip to Algeciras with several absences. Besides the injuries to Soldevila, Sotillos, Javi Jiménez, Colomina, and Toril, Ben Hamed is suspended. Central defender Nacho Monsalve is also a doubt due to a quadriceps contusion, although tests have not been conclusive.
