Elperiodic.com has published new photo galleries from the second day of the Flower Offering of the Hogueras de Sant Joan 2026 in Alicante, allowing festival-goers, families, and visitors to find themselves and relive their participation in one of the most emblematic events of the Alicante festivities.
The celebration, which took place this Monday, transformed the city center into a floral and musical route. Commissions, beauties, ladies, and festive representatives participated in an afternoon marked by the demanding heat, which caused a slight delay in the start of the event.
The photographic coverage by elperiodic.com, present on both Sunday and Monday, captures the best images of the Offering, an event that annually gathers over 10,000 festival-goers per day and is considered one of the oldest floral offerings in Spain, held since 1941.
The traditional route of the Offering starts from the Plaza de los Luceros and continues through Alfonso X el Sabio, Rambla de Méndez Núñez, and San José street, reaching the Concatedral de San Nicolás. Petal by petal, a floral tapestry is created in honor of the Virgen del Remedio.
The second day completed the grand floral parade with scenes of emotion, festive pride, and tradition, despite the high temperatures that tested participants and the public. These new galleries expand the celebration's album, aiming to offer a visual memory to attendees.
