Alicante is gearing up to celebrate the 2026 Hogueras, with 92 monuments set to rise in its neighborhoods from June 18th until the Nit de la Cremà on June 24th.

The city of Alicante is already dressing up to welcome its eagerly awaited Hogueras 2026. Starting from June 18th, the streets will be filled with color, wood, and cork as dozens of artistic monuments are erected, available for viewing until the night of June 24th, the climax of the Nit de la Cremà.
This year, the La Albufereta commission will plant for the first time at its location, joining the festivities and increasing the number of works compared to the previous year. In total, 92 hogueras will be planted across the city's various neighborhoods, in addition to the two Official hogueras to be installed in the City Hall square.
The cycle of fire is about to begin, with monuments featuring different themes each year, the result of the work of artists and their teams who have dedicated months of effort.
Alicante's hogueras are classified into several categories, from Special Category, with 12 monuments, to Seventh Category, with 4 hogueras, created to alleviate the budgetary pressures of commissions with fewer resources. There are also children's categories, with a total of 9 hogueras in Special and up to 12 in First Category.
To visit the hogueras, it is recommended to do so on foot or by using public transport, especially the TRAM of Alicante, between Saturday, June 21st, and the night of June 24th.
