Aguas de Alicante has finished the integral renovation works of the sewage network in this important artery and adjacent streets, which had kept the road closed since mid-January. The conclusion of these works will once again allow the connection from the city center towards Rabasa and the A70 highway.
The works were carried out in two phases. The first affected the lower section of the avenue, between Santa Felicitas and Santa Isabel streets. The second phase focused on the collector renovation in the upper section, which now also facilitates traffic flow to access San Fernando Castle and Miguel Hernández institute via Blas de Loma street.
The Councilor for Urban Mobility, Carlos de Juan, highlighted the complexity of the sanitation works, which were necessary due to a previous road collapse. He thanked citizens for their patience during the construction period.
With the completion of these actions, only minor final touches remain on Magistral Segura street, a lateral road perpendicular to Condes de Soto Ameno.
