The main objective of these alliances is to strengthen the Alicante-Elche functional axis and expand the national and international projection of both institutions. The collaboration also aims to promote business activity, attract job opportunities, and develop innovation-linked projects.
The agreement between Impulsalicante and IFA recognizes the key role of the trade fair institution in the economic activity of Alicante and its area of influence, as well as its capacity to project the territory's image. One of the lines of work will focus on employment, allowing Impulsalicante's prospectors to access IFA to capture job offers from the institution and participating companies in the trade fairs, which will be disseminated through the Employment Portal.
Furthermore, both entities will share spaces and resources to organize events, promote economic activities, and facilitate contact between companies, institutions, and local development agents. IFA thus joins the Alicante Futura network as an entity committed to the city's innovation, sustainability, and economic development, receiving the Alicante Futura Committed Partner seal.
The trade fair institution will participate in various action lines of the municipal strategy, such as Alicante Futura Lab (talent acquisition), Alicante Futura Sandbox (space for innovation projects), and Alicante Futura Summit (business networking). It will also collaborate in dissemination activities, the Innovation Projects Portfolio, and the Alia Collaborators and Ambassadors networks.
With this accession, the Alicante City Council now has over 70 companies, entities, and institutions joining its Alicante Futura strategy, including organizations such as the CEV, the Port Authority of Alicante, Banco Sabadell, Ineca, Jovempa, and the Alicante Film Festival, reinforcing its role as a collaboration space to boost the city's innovative ecosystem.
