Amics Castelló faces CEB Llíria this Saturday at Pla de l’Arc in the first leg of the playoff quarterfinals, with the goal of continuing to dream of promotion.

The Castellón team arrives at this match after failing to overcome the champions' elimination round and following a tremendous series against Coto Córdoba. The team from La Plana was very close to completing a historic comeback at Ciutat de Castelló.
For its part, CEB Llíria reached these quarterfinals after comfortably overcoming its tie against UEMC Valladolid Baloncesto. The Edetan team secured the tie in the first leg played at Pla de l’Arc, where they won by a convincing 27-point difference. In the return leg, they fell in Pisuerga by 11 points, a sufficient result to seal their qualification.
The team coached by Javier Vilaplana boasts high-level players, with particular emphasis on an Asturian player who was the leader of the Valencian team in valuation during the regular season and is having a great playoff run, averaging 18 points and 20 valuation credits per game.
Amics Castelló and CEB Llíria have already met twice this season in the regular league, with a favorable balance for the Castellón team. The first duel played at Ciutat de Castelló ended with a local victory by 93-72, while the second match, corresponding to the last league day at Pla de l’Arc, was also resolved in favor of Amics by a tight 80-87.
In addition, the club has organized a bus so that Amics Castelló fans can accompany the team in this important away match corresponding to the first leg of the playoff quarterfinals.
