According to police sources, officers have already recovered the vehicle involved in the hit-and-run and identified its owner, but they still do not know who was driving the car at the time of the incident.
The hit-and-run occurred around two in the morning for reasons that have not yet been clarified. The Center for Information and Coordination of Emergencies (CICU) received the alert at 3:10 AM.
A SAMU unit was dispatched to the scene and performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation maneuvers, but could not save the man's life.
The investigation remains open to identify and locate the fleeing driver.
