The program will begin on Monday, May 18th, at 6:00 PM with the inauguration of the exhibition Emotions through Photography, which will be on display until May 29th at the EPA Miguel Hernández in Port de Sagunt.
On the same day, at 7:00 PM, the Casa Capellà Pallarés in Sagunt will host the exhibition Las reinas del cielo (The Queens of the Sky). Students from the porcelain decoration class at the Racó de l'Horta campus will present works made with hand-decoration techniques, featuring detailed paintings of birds. This exhibition will be open until May 22nd.
On Tuesday, May 19th, the Racó de l'Horta campus will hold an open house from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. It will include a space for reflection on peace, a reading of a manifesto, the presentation of the artwork Parem la guerra (Let's Stop the War), and a charity stall. The Councilor for Education, Raúl Palmero, will inaugurate the event at 6:30 PM, preceding exhibitions from the ceramics, drawing, painting, sewing, furniture restoration, porcelain decoration, and Afacam workshops. Recognitions will be awarded to Mercedes Martínez, Mª Vicenta Mezquita, and Félix López, and posthumously to the professor Vicen Escrig. The event will conclude with a violin recital by Alejandro Almarcha.
On the same Tuesday, two free muscle stretching workshops have been organized. In Port de Sagunt, it will take place at the Casal Jove from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM. In Sagunt, it will be held at the Racó de l'Horta campus from 6:15 PM to 8:00 PM.
On Thursday, May 21st, the Casa Municipal de Cultura del Port de Sagunt (Progreso street, 9) will host an open house from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. It will begin with a line dance and a performance by ballroom dancing students. Councilor for Education, Raúl Palmero, will inaugurate the event at 6:15 PM, followed by the presentation of diplomas to Bárbara Sánchez Suárez, Vicente Ortín Lorente, and Amparo Ruiz Pérez. There will also be exhibitions from the ceramics, drawing and painting, and bobbin lace workshops, with a demonstration workshop until 7:00 PM. Ceramics students will exhibit their work until May 29th.
On the same Thursday, May 21st, there will be a free yoga and tai chi chi kung session at the Casa Penya (Europa Avenue, 1) at sunset. This activity will be repeated on Saturday, May 23rd, in the sun clock garden area of the Port de Sagunt beach.
