This initiative is part of the conflict over the state of public education in Elche, which the Socialist Municipal Group describes as "a lost term marked by setbacks." Among the complaints filed are the elimination of vocational training cycles in institutes like Victoria Kent and Tirant lo Blanc, the condition of CIPFP La Torreta, the lack of space at IES Severo Ochoa, the deficiencies at IES La Asunción, and the delay in the construction of the Conservatory.
The extraordinary plenary session includes seven agreements demanding urgent solutions from the Ministry of Education regarding infrastructure, ratios, resources for UECO classrooms, and educational planning.
