Germán Valera, a 24-year-old footballer, has seen his market value multiply by four since joining Elche CF. His value has risen from 1,500,000 to 6,000,000 euros according to Transfemarkt. Valera has played 53 official matches for the green-and-white team, 36 of which were in LaLiga EA Sports 2025/26, where he scored four goals and provided five assists.
His journey with the club at the Martínez Valero stadium began with a last-minute plot twist, as he initially opted for Valencia CF in the summer of 2024. Six months later, in the winter transfer window, he came under the orders of Eder Sarabia. Now, with the arrival of Martín Anselmi, Sarabia's successor, his future could be tied to his performance under the new management.
The contract that Germán Valera signed with Elche in January 2025 includes a clause to extend it for another season, until June 2028, depending on objectives such as matches played or minutes on the field. Valera has already accumulated over 4,000 official minutes with the green-and-white jersey.
