The PSPV-PSOE will bring the blockade in the construction of the new Music Conservatory in Elche to the Valencian Courts. The spokesperson for the socialist municipal group, Héctor Díez; the spokesperson for Education in the regional Chamber, José Luis Lorenz; and the regional deputy Ramón Abad, announced that the party will present a Non-Binding Motion (PNL) to demand the construction of the new center. Díez indicated that the conservatory's location, changed three years ago by Pablo Ruz, is now "nowhere, absolute nowhere".

Héctor Díez denounced the blockade, recalling that in June 2023 the Conservatory was to be located on Avenida de la Unesco, with a needs assessment and pending the delegation of powers. "Three years later, the Conservatory is nowhere: there is no delegation of powers, not even a preliminary draft or construction project has been drawn up, and the plot still lacks the necessary urban planning conditions," Díez stated. He added that "the commitment to Ruz's Conservatory is the clearest sign of how much this government team values education. We will not have a Conservatory this term, not even construction work." He suggested that "if the approach of the Socialist Party and Ximo Puig's Consell had been followed, we would have a new Conservatory today."

In this regard, José Luis Lorenz expressed his concern about the paralysis of the Elche Conservatory, a problem that also affects other cities like Castellón. "From the Socialist Party in the Valencian Courts, we will submit written questions to ascertain its current status and present a PNL for the new Conservatory that Elche needs to be built now," he said.
