The Diversa festival, held in Elche from May 15 to 23, has begun its activities without any promotion on the City Council's official social media profiles.

The event, which takes place in venues such as l'Escorxador, has become a key date for raising awareness about LGTBIQ+ issues. This year, under the slogan 'More visible, more possible', the program includes various cultural proposals, but its presence on the council's digital platforms has been non-existent.
Unlike other cultural events promoted by the local administration, such as the Song Festival or the summer program, Diversa has not appeared on the City Council's Instagram, Facebook, or X accounts. The only municipal reference has been limited to a specific account with a much smaller reach.
This absence has sparked criticism regarding the management of institutional communication. During the last municipal plenary session, opposition representatives already questioned the lack of coverage for other events related to social groups, without receiving a clear response from the government team.
