Torrevieja to Launch Psychology Degree and Expand University Offerings

The city will introduce Psychology, Audiovisual Communication, and Tourism Business Management degrees starting in the 2026/2027 academic year.

The city of Torrevieja will expand its university offerings starting in the 2026/2027 academic year with the introduction of the first on-campus Psychology degree from UNED, along with two new degree programs.

Starting from the 2026/2027 academic year, Torrevieja will host its first on-campus Psychology degree program offered by the National University of Distance Education (UNED). This new educational offering aims to boost the city's university development.
In addition to the Psychology degree, the city is preparing for the arrival of two new programs: Audiovisual Communication and the Degree in Management of Tourism Companies and Activities. These new courses are designed to meet the educational and professional needs of the region, particularly in the tourism sector.
The university offerings in Torrevieja are already well-received, as evidenced by the fact that the Early Childhood Education degree has enrolled over 200 students, highlighting the demand for higher education in the city.
