The provincial president of PPCS, Marta Barrachina, on Thursday in Vinaròs, claimed prominence for the north of the province, stating that it "gains opportunities with the investments and management of the PP governments".

At a regional meeting held in Vinaròs, attended by local officials and party affiliates, Barrachina highlighted the investments made by the Diputación de Castellón in the northern area. According to her, "more than 64 million euros" have been mobilized to improve services, reinforce infrastructure, and support municipalities, asserting that "never before has the Diputación been so close to our municipalities nor made such a determined commitment to this land".
The PPCS leader emphasized the importance of citizen needs, citing the recovery of the mammography unit for the Vinaròs Comarcal Hospital as an example. She also highlighted the construction of the new Integrated Health Center (CSI) in Vinaròs, with an investment of 8 million euros, which arrives "after years of unfulfilled promises from the PSOE".
In education matters, Barrachina pointed to the Consell's commitment to educational infrastructure such as the IES José Vilaplana in Vinaròs or the IES Joan Coromines in Benicarló, which is progressing with the contracting of a temporary center to execute the definitive one.
The provincial president also referred to the neglect of the N-232 in Morella and the execution of the A-7, a project that, she indicated, "Pedro Sánchez decided to block," depriving the province of a highway that would connect with Catalonia. Faced with this situation, she advocated for the creation of alliances such as the "Sense Fronteres" project to improve residents' quality of life against what she considers a "punishment" by the PSOE.
